Welcome to Florence Roche Elementary School!
The Florence Roche School currently serves 500 students in a K through 4th grade configuration. A collaborative team approach, with teachers and specialists working together through grade-level and cross-graded teams, is used to ensure continuity and consistency of programs. Program adoption at Florence Roche is based on the philosophy that students learn best in an environment that is emotionally and physically safe and welcoming. Ongoing, classroom-based assessment of student progress is the foundation of the instructional program that strives to create an appropriate balance of support and challenge for each student.
