| Maranacook Community Middle School has students from 6-8 grade with 28 teachers and 12 Ed Techs. Students are placed on a team consisting of 3 teachers and 60-70 students and remain on the same team for three years. All of our teams are multi-age. We offer three foreign languages and a Gifted and Talented Program. We also have an Alternative Education Program for students who need something beyond the traditional classroom. Our Wellness Center is staffed with a full-time Nurse and Guidance Counselor. We also offer on-site counseling services through Kennebec Valley Behavioral Services. We are especially proud of our strong advisor/advisee program and our one-to-one laptop program supported by a Technology Integration Specialist. One of our biggest accomplishments is being names a Spotlight Middle School by the New England League of Middle School in 2008-2010, 2011-2014, 2015-2018. |
