The High School Learning Center was built in 1917, originally it was home to the Oliver School, and reopened in 2010 as the High School Learning Center. It currently has grades ranging from 9th thru 12th grade and houses approximately 200 students and 31 staff members. Students at the High School Learning Center are prepared for success in college and careers through a competency based program of instruction. Emphasis is placed on higher order thinking skills, dialogueand embedded technology to give students the necessary skills they need to compete in the twenty-first century. |
