| Vision Statement Central High School shines with pride through creativity, adaptability, perseverance, and imperishability as that “Lady on the Hill.” In keeping with those four pillars our vision is to produce students that are deeply imaginative, constantly thinking, and redeveloping themselves intellectually and morally; that can contribute to the world through innovation, problem solving, and community development. Our effort is to graduate young men and women with high expectation and character, which are comfortable with diversity, ideas, and change. Their self confidence will allow them to constantly challenge themselves, navigate conflict, and communicate in different settings; who will not quit in the face of struggle and who will be committed to excellence, not only for all that enter and exit through the doors of Central High School, but for all of humanity. Mission Statement The faculty, staff, and administration of Central High School will indoctrinate youngsters with the four pillars we envision by challenging students to question their limits and embrace greatness. Faculty and students alike will be confronted with an array of methods and strategies that are differentiated to meet the learning styles of all. At Central High School failures will be defied with alternative pedagogies and assessments that will motivate all to adapt and persevere. |
