| Motivating, Inspiring, and Achieving for Lifelong Learning is the theme of Dayton Street School for the 2010-2011 school year. At Dayton Street School, every member of our staff is oriented to providing a warm, secure, nurturing environment for our children. Teaching strategies are consistent with what the research and our own experiences have shown are "best practices." Our goal is to help children become "learned and responsible citizens for a global society." We do that by providing learning experiences that address the uniqueness of each child while providing continuous progress for all. Our vision affirms the past, celebrates the present and holds high hopes and expectations for the future. |
