| Rafael Hernandez School Vision The Rafael Hernandez School of Performing Arts provides a safe, disciplined and rigorous educational environment where both students and adults are enthusiastic about academic achievements and actively engaged in the learning process. The thirst for knowledge that RHS students posses, is cultivated through the dedication and commitment the teachers, staff and faculty convey. The RHS staff and administration work toward assuring a collegial and collaborative environment in order to achieve a professional and caring partnership with each other, students, parents and other members of the community. Through rigorous instruction and an engaging arts curriculum, students are held to high expectations. Rafael Hernandez educators believe in best practices that connect academic learning to real life experiences. Each RHS student receives individual attention through differentiated instruction in an atmosphere that fosters respect, equity and cooperation. RHS students respect and appreciate similarities and differences among peers, and take the opportunity to grow through the experiences afforded at Rafael Hernandez School.
