AAMA's George I.Sanchez Charter School is recruiting for a middle school Social Studies Teacher for our North Campus serving 6th thru 11th graders. We are located at 215 Rittenhouse St. In this role you will provide outstanding social studies instruction to 6th-8th grade students . We offer a $55,000 starting pay, SMALL class size, technology and flexibility for our teachers to be more innovative in the classroom.

George I. Sanchez Charter School System, founded in 1973 and chartered in 1996, has 2 campuses and serves approximately 900 middle and high school students, most of whom are Hispanic. We are GROWING!

Programs include early college and dual-credit courses, tutoring, ESL and LEP instruction, after-school programs, addiction counseling & prevention, Pre-K, parenting classes and nationally accredited childcare for our students who have children.

Qualified candidates will have a Texas teacher's certification (social studies content) and 3 years of previous teaching experience.
