Responsible for supporting regular education and special education teachers by providing quality guidance and assistance to special education students in the classroom.

Additional Information

·   Associate’s degree or two-year college certificate required

·   Bachelor’s degree or teacher license preferred

·   Experience working with children with special needs preferred

·   First Aid Class/ CPR & AED Certification Required (or obtain within 6 months of hire)

·   Substitute Authorization Preferred

·   Must be highly qualified according to the No Child Left Behind Act (A.A. or A.S. Degree, or 48 semester hours of credit, or  passing score on State approved content/knowledge test)

·   Effective time management due to time clock
