| SCHOOL CULTURE Kensington Avenue is pleased to join the ranks of Springfield’s federally supported magnet schools, where we feel great excitement over becoming one of the few elementary schools in the country to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme. We attribute this success to our dedicated staff, who share a joint vision of creating a school that draws on each student’s strengths through teaching to the multiple intelligences of children. At Kensington Avenue Magnet School we take great pride in our active family partnerships which help to foster a spirit of cooperation between home and school that allows us to nurture each child. By working side-by-side with parents we are able to help children’s hopes and dreams begin, grow and come alive!
