Welcome to Stem Middle Academy!
STEM Middle Academy is a magnet school in Springfield, MA. We opened in the fall of 2008 with 100 sixth grade students. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. We integrate the STEM theme in everything we do. Staff members plan integrated units that include the STEM theme.

STEM Middle Academy has been awarded a second Federal Magnet Grant. We will be enhancing our STEM theme through Expeditionary Learning. To learn more about EL, visit http://elschools.org/
